Dr. Gottam attended medical school at Kakatiya Medical College in India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology Fellowship at Wayne State University, Detroit Receiving and Harper Hospitals.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Gottam is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology.

Dr. Gottam holds staff privileges at Ascension St. John Hospital, Ascension Macomb Hospital, and Detroit Medical Center (Harper University Hospital, Detroit Receiving Hospital, DMC Heart Hospital).

Dr. Gottam’s areas of interests include coronary artery disease revascularization,including coronary angioplasty and stent placement, and peripheral arterial disease revascularization,including percutaneous angioplasty.

He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He completed his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center.
